Awesome news for Mont Saint-Anne. I wonder if L’étoile filante will become an 8 or 10 passenger gondola. I’m still a bit confused about the plan to make l’express du sud and la Tortue one lift. Isn’t it just going to be parallel to the gondola. Also wondering if the Échappée t-bar will be replaced along with Express du nord.

      Here’s the translation:

Installation of new, ultra‑modern ski lifts across the entire ski area: the gondola, the South Express, the North Express, and the Tortue lifts will be replaced by three new lift alignments and three new lifts, in order to optimize coverage and flow throughout the ski area. The configuration for replacing the Tortue–South Express combination is still under review to meet the technical requirements.

      • Modernization of the snowmaking system enabling:

      • A 30% increase in snow production capacity
      • A 30% reduction in energy consumption

      • Major redevelopment of the base and summit areas, integrated into the natural environment, offering innovative spaces and services.

      • Installation of an alpine coaster (rail‑mounted luge) to enhance the summer tourism offering.

yeah! Something satisfying about seeing an old lift and ski area brought back to service again. Even if it is just 1 lift for now. Who knows, perhaps if this works out in the long run, something can be done for the other lifts that are still standing, even though I believe they are on forest service land and the forest service removed the controls to those lifts…
