The Argentine lift at Keystone broke down today. They did not have to evacuate it, but they shut it down for the day.

Not too sure how I feel about Antelope Butte re-opening.. Those custom riblets haven’t turned since 04.. From the pictures you took when you visted there the lifts already looked a bit worn out and custom thrown together.. yikes..

Even though Wyoming doesn’t have a tramway board, both the Forest Service and Antelope Butte’s insurance company would want to inspect the lifts before an opening.

Don’t get me wrong, I am very happy to see an old lift that has sat idle for a long time start turning again! I just hope they give those two Ribbies a really good going over.

I’ve seen you use the term “six-place” twice now, and I am just curious, is that a recurring typo or is that actually just another term for it?

For carriers bigger than four seats, I just use the term ‘six’. So it would go something like fixed triple, detachable quad, detachable six, detachable eight.
